Venturi Vacuum System
Tired of your swivel falling out of your blow tube?

The Venturi Vacuum System assists artists in creating full-lined tubing, ribbon cane, lattachino, and millies like never before. The most talked about technique of the year has been the “Vac Stack,” a variation of the "stick stack" technique where the artist vacuums the air out of the stack as it is being heated. This Venturi system will help you to make larger amounts of prep work more easily allowing the you to focus on assembly of your work.

In order to run this sytem you will also need:

• A small to mid-size compressor or larger that will produce a consistent line pressure of 55-60 psi.
• Compressor hose long enough to get to your work station with a quick connect.
• 6 feet of ¾” high temperature slicone tubing (found at your local rubber and hose company—approx. $15). If you have difficulty finding this item please contact us at TorchLife for a special order.
• 10 feet of clear tubing for exhausting the air moved by the Venturi (found at your local hardware store—approx. $2).

The Venturi Vacuum System is usually used on the lathe but if you "stick stack" by hand you can use it as well.
